SMS opt-in and call to action

Jobsite Exchange, LLC · Denver, Colorado · Last updated September 27, 2026

This page shows exactly where a consumer consents to receive text messages from Jobsite Exchange, LLC, and the exact wording shown to them at the moment they consent. It is public. No account, no login, and no form submission is needed to read it.

Who sends, who receives, and from what number

Sender: Jobsite Exchange, LLC, a Denver-area marketplace where contractors, haulers and property owners post surplus material such as dirt, fill and aggregate, or post what they need.

Recipients: people who used this website, gave us their own mobile number, and checked a consent box asking for texts. We never text purchased, rented, scraped or third-party lists.

Texts originate from these numbers: +1 970-545-7975 and +1 720-734-4083.

Support: email robert@jobsiteexchange.com, call 614-582-5642, or use our contact page.

Every way a consumer opts in to recurring messages

There are three. Email is the default delivery channel on every form, and consent to texts is never required to post, to book, or to use the site. A one-time verification code a consumer asks for is a separate single message, described further down.

1. Posting a material listing

On the homepage quick form at jobsiteexchange.com and on the full form at jobsiteexchange.com/post/export or /post/import (reached from /get-started, which asks first whether material is leaving or arriving), the consumer fills out their listing and reaches a step headed “Send my manage code by”, with Email selected by default. Choosing Text message reveals a mobile number field and a consent checkbox that is unchecked by default. The listing will not submit until the consumer checks it.

2. Requesting a haul (Book a Haul)

The form at jobsiteexchange.com/book asks what the material is, where it is going and when, then asks how the consumer wants to track the haul. Choosing “Email or text me a ticket” brings up the same component and the same unchecked checkbox, with the consent wording below word for word identical. Only the step heading names a different receipt, “haul ticket” instead of “manage code”. The third screenshot below is that exact step.

3. Texting START

A consumer who has previously opted out can text START to +1 970-545-7975 or +1 720-734-4083 to start receiving messages again. Our opt-out confirmation reply states this.

The exact consent wording, verbatim

Both forms above render the same component. This is what the consumer reads, word for word. The checkbox ships unchecked and is required before the form will submit.

Screenshots of the live consent step

These are captures of the live consent component, the same one the listing form and Book a Haul render, with Text message selected so the whole disclosure is visible at once.

Book a Haul. The consent checkbox label is word for word the same. The step heading says “haul ticket”, and the line under the number field states the Book a Haul rule rather than the listing rule.

Verification codes are a separate, single message

Several screens can send one verification code to a number the consumer types in at that moment: creating an account by phone, signing in by phone, the listing lookup at /manage, password recovery, haul tracking, and changing the phone number on an account. The account sign-in panel is also embedded in several places for people who would rather use an account: the listing form, Book a Haul, the account menu in the site header, and the listing inquiry form. In that embedded form only the create-an-account-by-phone path can send a code, and it shows the same disclosure. That is a single transactional message the consumer asks for, not a subscription, and it is not what the consent checkbox above covers. Every one of those surfaces renders the same disclosure next to the number field, before anything is sent:

“Asking for a code sends one text from Jobsite Exchange to this number. One message per request, no marketing, and you can use email instead. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. See SMS terms and Privacy Policy.”

Email remains available on every one of those screens, so agreeing to a text is never a condition of reaching an account or a listing.

What the consent checkbox covers

Checking the box consents to the message types described in our SMS messaging terms:

Message frequency varies with your activity. Message and data rates may apply according to your carrier and plan. Jobsite Exchange does not charge for the messages.

Opting out, and getting help

Reply STOP at any time. You get one confirmation message and then no further texts unless you opt in again. We also honor CANCEL, QUIT, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, STOPALL and REVOKE. Reply HELP or INFO for help, which returns our program name and support contact.

Other places we ask for a phone number, and what happens to it

For completeness, since a reviewer will find these: not every phone field on the site is an SMS opt-in.

Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or obtained by, any third parties.

Two different numbers, two different rules. A mobile number given under the consent checkbox on a listing is never published on the listing and never shared with anyone. A phone number put on a haul request is shared with the independent providers we introduce you to, because that is how they reach you about your own request. SMS opt-in and consent data are never shared with anyone, and nothing is shared for marketing or promotional purposes.
